Leanne Berkahn is a consultant haematologist at Auckland City Hospital and senior lecturer in the Department of Molecular Medicine and Pathology at the University of Auckland School of Medicine. Her current research interests are new therapeutic approaches in the management of leukaemia and lymphoma.

MB ChB (Otago); FRACP – Internal medicine. Dr Chien is a consultant haematologist at Auckland City Hospital. She completed her haematology training in Auckland region and undertook fellowship in bone marrow transplant and multiple myeloma at Vancouver General Hospital Canada. Her main area of research interest is in therapy for plasma cell disorders.
