The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (RANZCR)
The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (RANZCR) members can claim reading related to their practice as a CPD activity under the category ‘journal reading and web based no certificate *reflection required’.
The College of Nurses Aotearoa
Time spent reading Research Reviews has been approved for CNE by The College of Nurses Aotearoa (NZ) for RNs and NPs.
The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RANZCOG)
Royal Australian New Zealand College of Gynaecologists (RANZCOG) – Fellows may claim CPD hours as part of the Educational Activities Domain of the RANZCOG CPD Framework for self-education O&G activities. Please refer to the RANZCOG Framework and List of Activities to identify your educational activity and which domain hours may be claimed in.
The Australasian College of Dermatologists (ADC)
The Australasian College of Dermatologists (ACD) has approved all Dermatology Research Reviews for accreditation as a Category 1 Education Activities – Professional Reading and Study. Royal NZ College of General Practitioners (RNZCGP)
Research Review publications, videos and e-Learning modules have been endorsed by The Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners (RNZCGP) and have been approved for up to 2 CME credits per learning hour for Continuing Professional Development (CPD) purposes.
Royal New Zealand College of Urgent Care (RNZCUC)
RNZCUC members may claim time spent reading and engaging with any Research Review material relevant to Urgent Care. They are to record the activity within their e-portfolio and discuss their reflections at their structured annual conversation. Learning activities are to be guided by their professional development plan.
Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS)
The Royal Australasian College of Surgeons allows general activities including journal reading and researching clinical information including digital resources to be included as part of members CPD (max 20 points per annum) such as Research Reviews.
Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP)
The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP) CPD Program allows participants to claim hours spent in private reading of journals under ‘Section 4 – Self Guided Learning’. Research Reviews can be included as ‘Self-Guided Learning’.
Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP)
RACP MyCPD participants can claim the time spent reading and evaluating research reviews as CPD in the online MyCPD program. Please contact MyCPD@racp.edu.au for any assistance.
Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists (RANZCO)
RANZCO has approved AU & NZ Eye Health Research Review as a CPD activity.
Podiatry Board of NZ
Did you know you can use Research Review courses to meet your Continued Professional Development (CPD) requirements in Aotearoa New Zealand. Time spent reading Research Review publications can be claimed towards the Podiatrists Board of New Zealand’s Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Recertification Policy under the ‘Professional Learning Activities’ category.
Physiotherapy Board of New Zealand
Reading Research Reviews can be included in registered Physiotherapists CPD plan and recorded as part of 100 hours of CPD over a three year period.
