A case-based symposium was held at the 2024 GPCME in Rotorua in June. Cardiologist
Dr Gerry Devlin and Nephrologist Dr Andy McNally used case studies of patients with heart failure and CKD to describe some of the challenges in the management of these conditions, and how to address them. This review summarises the key points of their presentations and is sponsored by an educational grant from Boehringer Ingelheim and Eli Lilly.
