Advances: Tackling the Challenges of Parkinson’s Disease, which was held in Auckland on 29th March 2025. The meeting programme featured presentations by local and international experts in the field of Parkinson’s disease as well as panel discussion sessions. This review summarises presentations from the two international guest speakers: the Keynote Presentation by Professor Andrew Lees (London, UK), who discussed the history of drug development in Parkinson’s disease, and a presentation and case based learning session by Professor Regina Katzenschlager (Vienna, Austria), who discussed the use of apomorphine in clinical practice.
